Swipe down from anywhere on the screen to close modal

Mode "modal" can be swiped down only from the top. I would like to achieve the swipe down to close from anywhere on the screen. In some cases, the modal contain a vertical FlatList, so both the swipe down to close and Flatlist scroll will be on Y axis. For an example, take a look at Snapchat's profile page or Instagram share activity.
